Verse of the day: “Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert” (Isaiah 43:18-19, NKJV).

This passage is an invitation to let go of the past and open our hearts to the new work God is doing. Sometimes we get stuck in what has already happened: mistakes, losses, or even yesterday’s successes. However, God reminds us that His work is continuous and full of hope. He promises to do something new, even in the deserts of our lives—those dry and difficult places where there seems to be no way out.

The Lord specializes in turning the impossible into possible. He makes ways where there are none and brings streams of life where everything seems dry. But to experience the new things God has for us, we must trust Him, release the old, and have faith that His plan is good and perfect. Today, reflect: Is there something in your past you need to surrender to God so you can see the new thing He is doing? Trust that His power is sufficient to make a way and renew your life.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, thank You because You are doing something new in my life. Help me leave the past behind and fully trust in Your plan for my future. I give You my deserts, trusting that You will make a way and bring life where there seems to be none. Thank You because Your work is always good, perfect, and full of hope. Amen. “With hope and joy in Him, Along the Way with Him”
