Verse of the day: “But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.” (John 3:21, NKJV).
Jesus calls us to live in truth—a truth that is not only known but also practiced. Walking in the light means living transparently and aligning our actions with God’s principles, allowing His light to reveal and guide everything we do. Living in the light isn’t always easy. It requires humility, repentance, and a constant willingness to turn away from anything that doesn’t glorify God. Yet, in this light, we find freedom, joy, and purpose. When our deeds reflect God’s truth, we do not seek our own glory but point to the One who works in and through us.
Jesus invites us to leave behind the shadows of fear, guilt, and sin and to embrace the abundant life He offers. Living in the light is a powerful testimony to the world, showing that we are transformed by His love and led by His truth. Today, reflect: Are there areas of your life that need to be brought into God’s light? Allow His grace to transform you and let your deeds reflect His truth and love.
Today’s prayer
Prayer: Abba Father, in the name of Your Son Jesus, I thank You for the light of Your truth. Help me to live transparently and to do all things for Your glory. Examine my heart and guide my steps so that my deeds may reflect Your power and love. Thank You, Lord, for the freedom and purpose I find in Your light. Amen.
