This verse offers a powerful assurance: for those who love God, nothing is wasted. Not even pain, loss, or confusion can derail His perfect plan. God sovereignly works all things—pleasant or painful—for the eternal good of those He has called.
This good is not always comfort, but Christlikeness (Romans 8:29). Through every circumstance, God shapes us into the image of His Son. Jesus Himself learned obedience through suffering (Hebrews 5:8), showing us that the path of faith may be narrow, but it is always filled with purpose.
As we walk in love and obedience, we rest in this truth: God’s will is always good, pleasing, and perfect (Romans 12:2).

Prayer: Abba Father, thank You for working all things for my good. Help me to trust You even when I don’t understand, and to love Your will more than my own. Let my life be shaped by the image of Christ. In the Name of our Lord Jesus, I thank You. Amen.
