Persecution for righteousness’ sake is not a sign of failure, but of faithfulness. Jesus assures us that those who suffer for living according to God’s will and proclaiming His truth are blessed, because the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to them.
Such suffering is never in vain. The apostle Peter reminds us, “But even if you should suffer for righteousness’ sake, you are blessed” (1 Peter 3:14). Standing firm in the face of opposition proves a genuine and living faith. As Paul said, “All who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution” (2 Timothy 3:12).

Prayer: Lord, strengthen my faith during trials. May I never be ashamed of Your truth or shrink back in fear. Make me faithful, courageous, and filled with Your Spirit, for I know You have made me part of Your Kingdom in Heaven. In the name of our Lord Jesus. Amen.
