Jesus doesn’t just offer direction—He is the direction. By declaring Himself “the light of the world,” He reminds us that outside of Him, there is only darkness, confusion, and spiritual death. But when we follow Him—not from a distance, but closely—we receive a light that never fades: the light of life.
This light guides us in our decisions, comforts us in sorrow, strengthens us in weakness, and reveals God’s eternal purpose. Darkness cannot overcome where Jesus reigns, for He is the light that dispels all shadows. Today, choose to walk in His light. Renew your commitment to follow Him, even when the path is unclear. His light is enough for each step you take.
Today’s prayer
Prayer: Lord Jesus, You are my light in the darkness. Help me to follow You each day, trusting that Your light leads me and Your truth sustains me. Abba Father, we present this prayer in the Name of Your beloved Son Jesus. Amen.
