This call from the Lord is an invitation to rise from any state of passivity or discouragement and to shine with the light that Christ has ignited in us. The true light that has come into the world is Jesus (John 8:12), and His glory in our lives is not the result of our own strength, but of His grace and presence.
Ephesians 5:14 reminds us: “Wake up, sleeper, rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.” When He dwells in us, His light enables us to reflect His love, truth, and righteousness in a world full of darkness. Our mission is to carry that light, guiding others to the eternal hope only He can give.
Today’s prayer
Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for the light of Your Son that drives away all darkness. Help me to stand firm, walk in holiness, and reflect Your glory in every area of my life. Abba Father, we offer this prayer in the Name of Your beloved Son Jesus. Amen.
