Jesus calls us to be visible bearers of His light—not to seek personal recognition, but so that our actions, inspired by the Holy Spirit, will point all glory to the Father. This light is not our own; it is the light of Christ dwelling within us (John 8:12).
Ephesians 2:10 reminds us that we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. When we act in love, justice, and truth, we reflect His character, and people can see that what we do is the result of His grace.
Today’s prayer
Prayer: Heavenly Father, may Your light in me be evident in every word and action, so that others may be drawn to You and glorify Your Name. Teach me to live not for my glory, but for Yours. Abba Father, we offer this prayer in the Name of Your beloved Son Jesus. Amen.
