Commit Your Works to the Lord

This proverb teaches us a foundational truth: when we commit our works into the Lord’s hands, He is the One who establishes and directs our plans. It is not about relying on our own wisdom, but about recognizing that God is the author of our ways, and only in His guidance do we find security and purpose.

Jesus Himself showed us what it means to entrust everything to the Father. Before the cross, in Gethsemane, He prayed: “Yet not my will, but yours be done” (Luke 22:42↗). His life and example remind us that true peace and direction come when we yield our plans and desires to God in obedience.

When we trust the Lord with our work, we not only find direction, but also peace amid uncertainty. By placing our decisions, projects, and desires in His hands, our thoughts align with His will, and what once felt heavy or unclear becomes a source of hope and clarity.
