Verse of the Day: “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭7:7‬ ‭NIV‬‬

This verse is a direct invitation from Jesus to approach the Father with confidence in prayer. He teaches us that God is not indifferent to our petitions but is a loving Father who listens and responds. Asking, seeking, and knocking are acts of active faith, showing trust and full dependence on the grace of God.

In Christ, we have free access to the throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). He Himself taught us to pray with confidence, knowing that our heavenly Father knows our needs before we ask Him (Matthew 6:8). It is not about selfish desires, but about aligning our hearts with the perfect will of God, who works for our good.

Jesus is the Way (John 14:6), and through Him our prayers find their answer. When we ask in His name and according to His will, we receive not only blessings but the greatest gift: His presence, His peace, and His guidance for our lives.

Today’s prayer

Prayer: Abba Father, thank You because in Christ I have the confidence to come before You in prayer. Teach me to ask in faith, to seek with perseverance, and to knock with humility, trusting that You open the right doors at the perfect time. I present this prayer in the Name of Your beloved Son Jesus. Amen.
