Verse of the Day: “The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.” John 1:14 NIV

This verse reveals one of the greatest mysteries of God’s love: the eternal Word, Christ Himself, became flesh and dwelt among us. He did not send a messenger or a symbol of His presence—He came personally to reconcile the world to Himself. In Jesus, the invisible God became visible, and His glory was revealed in grace and truth (Colossians 1:15–17).

The Word did not come to condemn but to save. In His perfect humanity, Jesus walked among us displaying the character of the Father—compassion, mercy, justice, and love. Every word, every act, and every miracle reflected the fullness of God manifested in human form (Hebrews 1:3).

To behold His glory is not only to witness His power but to experience His grace. In Christ we find the truth that sets us free and the grace that transforms us. He came to dwell among us, and today He abides in those who believe in His name. His presence no longer dwells in temples made by human hands but in the surrendered hearts that receive His light (2 Corinthians 4:6).

Today’s prayer

Prayer: Abba Father, thank You because in Christ, the Word made flesh, You have revealed Your glory and Your love to me. Thank You for dwelling among us and bringing grace and truth into my life. Let Your presence be real in me each day, and may Your light shine through my words and actions. I pray in the Name of Your beloved Son Jesus. Amen.
