Clothed with the Armor of God

The apostle Paul reminds us that the believer’s life is a continual spiritual battle. We do not fight against visible enemies but against spiritual forces that seek to draw us away from the truth and peace found in Christ (Ephesians 6:12↗). Therefore, the instruction is clear: we must put on the full armor of God, not rely on our own strength.

The enemy never rests, and his tactics are subtle—deception, discouragement, pride, and fear. Yet God has provided everything we need to stand firm. The armor includes truth, righteousness, faith, salvation, the Word, and prayer. Each piece represents a dimension of Christ Himself, who is our defense and strength (Romans 13:14↗).

To put on the armor is to live daily in awareness of His presence, to nourish our faith with the Word, and to walk in constant prayer. The prepared believer does not fear the battle, for victory does not depend on human ability but on the power of the Lord. In Christ, we are more than conquerors, and no scheme of the enemy can overcome those who stand firm in Him (1 John 4:4↗).
