Peace with God through Christ

The apostle Paul declares one of the most glorious truths of the gospel: through faith in Jesus Christ, we have been justified—that is, declared righteous before God. We are no longer under condemnation, for the debt of sin was fully paid on the cross. Christ, the perfect Lamb, took our place and reconciled us to the Father (2 Corinthians 5:18–19↗).

Peace with God is not a feeling but a spiritual position. Once we were enemies of God, but now we are accepted as His beloved children. This peace is the direct result of grace, not of human effort. It is the rest of the soul that knows everything has been accomplished and that our relationship with the Creator has been completely restored (Ephesians 2:8–9↗).

To live in this peace is to walk in communion with Christ, trusting in His finished work. Though external circumstances may change, inner peace remains, for it is grounded in God’s righteousness, not in the world’s stability. In Jesus, we find not only forgiveness but reconciliation, purpose, and eternal hope (John 16:33↗).
