Children of God Through Christ

This verse reveals that salvation is more than forgiveness of sins—it is divine adoption. To receive Christ and believe in His name grants us a right we could never earn on our own: to become children of God. This does not come through heritage, human effort, or personal merit, but through the grace that flows from the redemptive work of Jesus (Ephesians 1:5↗).

To believe in the name of Jesus means to trust in who He is and in what He has done. His name represents His authority, His work, and His identity as the Son of God. By believing in Him, we move from being outsiders to members of God’s family. We are no longer spiritual orphans—we are loved children, accepted and called by name (Romans 8:15–16↗).

This new identity transforms the way we live. As children of God, we walk in confidence, obedience, and hope. We have access to the Father, an eternal inheritance, and the assurance of His love. Living as children is not a distant privilege; it is a present reality that defines who we are and how we walk daily with Christ (Galatians 4:6–7↗).
