In the life and work of Jesus, more than 300 prophecies from the Old Testament were fulfilled,

all pointing to the Messiah. These prophecies cover aspects of His birth, ministry, death, and resurrection. Some notable examples include:

1. Birth in Bethlehem: Prophesied in Micah 5:2 (around 700 B.C.) and fulfilled in Matthew 2:1 (around 4-6 B.C.), with a gap of approximately 700 years.

2. Born of a virgin: Announced in Isaiah 7:14 (around 740 B.C.) and fulfilled in Matthew 1:22-23 (around 4-6 B.C.), about 735 years apart.

3. His death on the cross: Described in Psalm 22 (written by King David, around 1000 B.C.) and Isaiah 53 (around 700 B.C.), and fulfilled in the Gospels (Matthew 27, Mark 15, around 30-33 A.D.). About 1030 years passed between the oldest prophecy and its fulfillment.

4. His resurrection: Predicted in Psalm 16:10 (around 1000 B.C.) and fulfilled in Luke 24:6-7 (around 30-33 A.D.), with a gap of approximately 1030 years.

This perfect fulfillment of the prophecies not only demonstrates God’s sovereignty but also reaffirms that Jesus is the promised Messiah.

One of the key verses in the Bible that explains the concept of the Trinity (God as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) is found in the Gospel of Matthew:

Matthew 28:19 (New King James Version):
“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.”
This verse is known as the Great Commission. Here, Jesus instructs His disciples to baptize in the name of the three persons of the Trinity, reflecting the unity and equality of the three divine persons in the Christian faith.

What is the Trinity?
The Trinity is a Christian concept that teaches there is one God in three persons: God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ), and God the Holy Spirit. Though they are three distinct persons, they share the same divine essence and are co-equal and co-eternal. This mystery is fundamental to the Christian understanding of the nature of God, although it is a profound concept that can sometimes be difficult to fully comprehend.

In the same way, the promise that I make does not return to me, having accomplished nothing. No, it is realized as I desire and is fulfilled as I intend.”
