This verse teaches us that true wisdom begins with the fear of the Lord—not a fear of punishment, but a deep reverence, honor, and obedience to His will. The fear of God leads us to make wise choices, live with integrity, and seek His guidance in all things.
In contrast, fools reject wisdom and despise instruction. They choose to follow their own ways without considering God’s direction. However, divine wisdom is a gift that transforms our lives and leads us to true fulfillment.
