“Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.” (Romans 12:21, NKJV).
The world teaches us to respond to evil with revenge, resentment, or indifference. However, God’s Word calls us to a different path: overcoming evil with good. This does not mean ignoring injustice but rather acting with love, patience, and kindness even in the face of adversity.
When we choose to respond with good, we reflect the character of Christ and allow His light to shine through us. It is a challenge, but it is also an opportunity to demonstrate God’s transformative power in our lives. How do you respond when faced with evil or injustice? Are you allowing good to prevail in your actions?
Prayer: Lord, help me not to be overcome by evil but to overcome it with good. Fill my heart with love and patience so that my responses reflect Your grace. Teach me to act with wisdom and righteousness, trusting that You are the one who transforms hearts. In Jesus’ name, amen. “With hope and joy in Him, Along the Way with Him”
