“Dear friend, do not imitate what is evil but what is good. Anyone who does what is good is from God; anyone who does what is evil has not seen God.” (3 John 1:11, NIV).

In a world where evil is often celebrated and imitated without question, this verse calls us to reflect. As children of God, we are called to follow Christ’s example and live according to His truth. We must not b by the wrong practices of others but always seek what is good, just, and pleasing to God.

Doing good is not just a moral choice; it is a sign of our relationship with God. When our actions reflect His love and righteousness, we show the world that we belong to Him. On the other hand, those who practice evil demonstrate that they have not truly known God.

What example are you following in your daily life? Do your actions reflect God or the world?

Today’s prayer

Prayer: Lord, help me imitate what is good and reject what is evil. May my actions testify to my love for You. Give me wisdom to discern what pleases You and strength to walk in obedience. In Jesus’ name, amen.

“With hope and joy in him along the way with him”.
