Called to Compassion

God calls us to reflect His character in our lives, and one of the most prominent virtues in His nature is compassion. He loves us tenderly, forgives us, and shows us mercy despite our shortcomings. As His children, we are called to live…

“Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful.” (Luke 6:36, NIV).

God calls us to reflect His character in our lives, and one of the most prominent virtues in His nature is compassion. He loves us tenderly, forgives us, and shows us mercy despite our shortcomings. As His children, we are called to live with that same compassionate heart toward others.

Being compassionate means seeing the needs of others, feeling empathy, and acting with love and mercy. It is choosing to forgive, to help, and to extend a hand to those in need—just as God does for us every day.

How can you reflect God’s compassion in your surroundings today?

Today’s prayer

Prayer: Lord, thank You for Your infinite compassion toward me. Help me to be compassionate to others, to see their needs, and to respond with love and mercy. May my life reflect Your tenderness and grace at all times. Amen.

“With hope and joy in Him along the way with Him”.
