Made Righteous Through Christ

Our Lord Jesus—the Holy and Innocent One—took our place. He was without sin, yet He bore ours, so that we, sinners by nature, might be declared righteous before God.

“God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.” (2 Corinthians 5:21, NIV).

Our Lord Jesus—the Holy and Innocent One—took our place. He was without sin, yet He bore ours, so that we, sinners by nature, might be declared righteous before God.

This divine exchange is the ultimate expression of God’s immense love. He gave His one and only Son as the perfect sacrifice. Because of Christ, we can now live reconciled to God, free from condemnation, and with a new identity shaped by His grace.

Are you living each day in gratitude for what Jesus did for you? Are you embracing your new identity in Him?

Today’s prayer

Prayer: Thank You, Jesus, for taking my place on the cross. You gave me life when I deserved judgment. Help me live with a thankful heart, fully aware that through Your righteousness, I am now a child of God. Amen.

“With hope and joy in Him along the way with Him”
