The Earth Filled with His Glory
In times of corruption, violence, and the seeming triumph of evil, the prophet Habakkuk received this eternal promise: the day will come when the glory of the Lord will fill the whole earth, as fully as the waters cover the sea.
“For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.”(Habakkuk 2:14, NIV).
In times of corruption, violence, and the seeming triumph of evil, the prophet Habakkuk received this eternal promise: the day will come when the glory of the Lord will fill the whole earth, as fully as the waters cover the sea.
This prophecy was partially fulfilled with the first coming of Jesus, is being fulfilled today through the spread of the Gospel, and will be fully realized when Christ returns in glory.
God has not abandoned His creation. His plan is that His glory, His truth, and His love will reach every nation, every dark corner of the world and every heart.
Every time we share the truth, every faithful act of love, every seed sown in His name, is part of this glorious expansion that will culminate in eternity.

Today’s prayer
Prayer: Abba Father, thank You for giving me Your beloved only Son, Jesus, for my salvation. Give me discernment to be part of the expansion of Your glory on earth, living with faith and a faithful testimony. I lift this prayer with thanksgiving and ask for Your help to reflect Your light and truth in all I do. In the name of our Lord Jesus. Amen.
