The Stone the Builders Rejected
Jesus spoke these words in confrontation with the religious leaders. They were rejecting the promised Messiah, unaware that they were discarding the most important stone in God’s spiritual structure.

This quote from Psalm 118:22 prophetically identifies Christ as the essential foundation of God’s Kingdom. People rejected Him, but God exalted Him as the chief cornerstone—the base upon which true, firm, and eternal life is built.
Today, many still reject Jesus. But for those who believe, He is our strength, our guide, and our salvation. There is no firmer foundation than Him.
Is Jesus the cornerstone of your life, or are you building on another foundation? Are you giving Him the central place He deserves?
Today’s prayer
Prayer: Abba Father, thank You for giving me Your beloved only Son, Jesus, for my salvation. Thank You that although He was rejected by men, You made Him the cornerstone. Today I receive Him as the foundation of my life. Help me to build everything upon Him, with faith and obedience. I lift this prayer with thanksgiving.
