Verse of the Day (NKJV): “You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the Lord Forever.” (Psalm 23:5–6)
These closing verses of Psalm 23 declare the tender care and unwavering faithfulness of our Shepherd. He doesn’t just lead us—He honors and restores us, even in the presence of adversity. Our victory is found in His presence, not in the absence of trouble.
Jesus, the Good Shepherd (John 10:11), came to give us abundant life. In Him we are anointed, restored, and filled with joy. His grace overflows in us like a cup that never runs dry. His goodness and mercy are not occasional—they pursue us every single day.
The promise ends with eternal hope: to dwell in the Lord’s house forever. No matter how hard the journey, the destination is secure for those who follow the Shepherd of their souls.

Prayer: Abba Father, thank You for preparing a table for me, even when trouble surrounds me. Thank You for anointing me, comforting me, and filling my life with Your goodness and mercy. Teach me to walk in Your faithfulness and long for Your presence always. In the Name of our Lord Jesus, I thank You. Amen.
