The hunger that atisfies the Soul
Jesus speaks of a hunger and thirst that go beyond physical needs. It is a longing for righteousness not just social justice, but a deep desire to live in alignment with God’s will.

Those who hunger for righteousness do not seek to glorify themselves, but to reflect the character of Christ (Romans 3:22). This righteousness is not earned by works, but received through faith in Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God—and righteousness (1 Corinthians 1:30).
God promises to satisfy that longing—not with temporary things, but with Himself. Jesus is the Bread of Life (John 6:35), and whoever believes in Him shall never hunger again.
Today’s prayer
Prayer: Lord, I hunger and thirst for You— for Your righteousness, truth, and presence. Fill me with Your Word and the fullness of Your Spirit. Help me walk in obedience and humility, always seeking to honor You. In the name of our Lord Jesus. Amen.
