Justice That Flows Like a River

This powerful call from the prophet Amos is not merely a critique of empty religious rituals, but a plea to live out true justice. God is not pleased with outward religiosity, but with hearts that walk in integrity, mercy, and truth.

Justice, in God’s Kingdom, is not a concept—it’s a reflection of His holy character in our daily lives. Jesus, our perfect example, not only preached justice but lived it: serving others, defending the oppressed, and confronting hypocrisy (Matthew 23:23↗).

As followers of Christ, we are called to be vessels of that divine justice. Not human justice shaped by emotion or bias, but the justice that flows through the Holy Spirit, just as Micah 6:8↗ teaches: “…to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.”
