Jesus responds to the father’s doubt with an eternal truth: it is not about what we can do, but about what God does when we trust in Him. Genuine faith is not human effort to convince ourselves of something but the assurance that God is faithful and powerful to fulfill His Word (Hebrews 11:1).
This passage reminds us that human limitations are never obstacles for the Lord. In our daily struggles, when situations seem beyond our control, Jesus invites us to look to Him and believe. Not because our faith is great, but because His power is infinite (Matthew 17:20).
Believing in Christ opens the door to the impossible: restoration, healing, and transformation of life. Faith is the channel through which God’s grace works, and those who place their trust in Jesus experience that nothing is beyond His reach (Ephesians 3:20).
Today’s prayer
Prayer: Abba Father, thank You because in Christ You remind me that everything is possible when I trust in You. Help me believe beyond my doubts and fears and walk with the assurance that Your power is made perfect in my weakness. May my faith be a living testimony of Your grace and love. I pray in the Name of Your beloved Son, Jesus. Amen.
