This verse reveals a glorious truth: the same power that raised Jesus from the dead now lives in us through the Holy Spirit. This is not a symbolic presence but a real and transforming one. That Spirit brings to life what was dead and renews us from within (Ephesians 2:5).
The Holy Spirit not only guarantees our eternal salvation but also sustains our daily walk. He strengthens us in weakness, guides us into all truth, and enables us to live according to God’s will (Romans 8:26–27). The Christian life depends not on human effort but on the Spirit’s power working in those who believe. This promise also points to the future resurrection. Just as Christ was raised from the dead, we too will be made alive by that same Spirit. In Him we have the assurance of a life that transcends death and a hope that will never fade (1 Corinthians 15:22).
Today’s prayer
Prayer: Abba Father, thank You because Your Spirit lives in me and gives me new life each day. May Your resurrection power renew my strength, restore my faith, and lead me to live according to Your will. Help me remember that in Christ I have eternal life and unshakable hope. I pray in the Name of Your beloved Son Jesus. Amen.
