Human beings make plans, dream, and set goals, but God’s Word reminds us that it is the Lord who has the final say. This is not a call to stop planning but an invitation to recognize that true direction comes from Him. Our thoughts may map out a path, but only God knows the right destination and the perfect way to reach it (Jeremiah 10:23).
The human heart is limited—shaped by emotions, desires, and partial understanding. But the Lord sees the entire picture. When we surrender our plans to Him, He aligns them with His will and makes our steps firm to keep us from stumbling (Psalm 37:23). His guidance may not always follow our logic, but it always fulfills His purpose.
Walking under God’s direction requires humility and trust. It means surrendering every decision, dream, and plan in prayer. When we rest in His sovereignty, we find peace even when the path changes. The Lord not only sets the destination but walks with us every step of the way. His timing is never late, and His guidance never fails (Proverbs 3:5–6).
Today’s prayer
Prayer: Abba Father, thank You because Your plans are better than mine. Today I surrender my thoughts, my projects, and my path before You. Direct my steps and guide my life according to Your perfect will. May every decision reflect Your wisdom and purpose. I pray in the Name of Your beloved Son Jesus. Amen.
