Verse of the Day: “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16 NIV
This verse summarizes the greatest message ever announced: God loved the world so much that He Himself took the initiative to save it. His love is not theoretical or distant—it is a love that gives, acts, and offers life. The Father did not send Jesus out of obligation, but out of eternal mercy toward a lost humanity (Romans 5:8).
The giving of the Son is the greatest act of grace. Christ came to seek and to save the lost. He carried our sin, bore our guilt, and opened the way to eternal life. Whoever believes in Him does not walk toward condemnation but toward hope. Faith is not a human effort but the response of a heart illuminated by God’s grace (Ephesians 2:8–9).
Eternal life does not begin after death but the moment we believe in Christ. It is new life, abundant life, life in communion with the Father. Jesus came to give a life that the world cannot offer or take away. In Him we find forgiveness, restoration, purpose, and the certainty of an eternal future with God (John 10:10).
Today’s prayer
Prayer: Abba Father, thank You for Your great love that gave Your Son for me. Thank You because in Christ I have eternal life, forgiveness, and hope. Strengthen my faith every day and teach me to live grateful for Your grace. I pray in the Name of Your beloved Son Jesus. Amen.
