Verse of the Day: “Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the LORD JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation.” Isaiah 12:2 KJV
This verse is a song of victory and confidence. The prophet Isaiah proclaims that God does not merely give salvation—He Himself is salvation. This changes everything: the believer’s security does not rest on favorable circumstances but on the eternal character of the Lord. When our trust is in Him, fear loses its grip (Psalm 118:14).
“I will trust and not be afraid” is not a statement of self-reliance but of total dependence. God becomes our strength when our own strength fails, and He becomes our song when we run out of words. His presence turns a fearful heart into a worshiping heart because His faithfulness stands firm even in adversity (Exodus 15:2).
God is salvation—past, present, and future. He has been faithful, He is faithful now, and He will remain faithful. When we remember His works, our faith grows; when we meditate on His power, we find rest; and when we trust His love, a new song rises in our hearts. This is the believer’s confidence: God is our rock, our refuge, and our eternal song (Isaiah 26:3–4).
Today’s prayer
Prayer: Abba Father, thank You because You are my salvation. In You I find strength, peace, and security. Remove every fear from my heart and fill me with the confidence that comes from Your presence. May my life be a song of gratitude for Your love and faithfulness. I pray in the Name of Your beloved Son Jesus. Amen.
