Daily devotional · Along The Way With Him
God sustains you in your fear
Through the prophet Isaiah, God speaks to the people of Israel and reminds them that He is with them. His promise to strengthen, help, and sustain them gives them reason to trust amid uncertainty.
So do not fear, because I am with you; do not be distressed, because I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Isaiah 41:10 English rendering based on NVI
Through the prophet Isaiah, God speaks to the people of Israel and reminds them that He is with them. His promise to strengthen, help, and sustain them gives them reason to trust amid uncertainty.
We too can bring our fears before God. Through Jesus Christ, we can approach our Father with confidence, ask for His help, and take the next faithful step. His presence gives us strength to face today.
Pause and reflect
Bring your greatest concern before God and ask Him for wisdom to act responsibly. In the name of His Son Jesus, ask Him to remove from your heart everything that does not come from the fruit of the Holy Spirit, renew your strength, and fill you with His Holy Spirit.
Today’s prayer
Abba Father, I bring You my fears and everything I cannot control. You are God. Thank You for choosing me and rescuing me through Your Son Jesus. Help me trust Your presence and walk in Your faithfulness. Remove from my heart everything that does not come from the fruit of Your Holy Spirit. Renew my strength and fill me with Your Holy Spirit. Give me peace, guide my decisions, and sustain me today. I ask this in the name of Your beloved Son Jesus. Amen.
