To Him Who Is Able to Do Immeasurably More
These verses close Paul’s prayer by exalting God’s greatness. They remind us that there is no limit to what God can do, and that His power works not only in the world but also within us.
“Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.” (Ephesians 3:20–21, NIV)
These verses close Paul’s prayer by exalting God’s greatness. They remind us that there is no limit to what God can do, and that His power works not only in the world but also within us.
Sometimes we pray with limited faith—asking just enough, expecting little. But God is able to do immeasurably more than all we can ask or imagine, through His Spirit at work in us.
This power is not for our glory, but so that the church may exalt Christ in every generation. The Christian life is, at its core, a story of glory given to God for everything He does in us and through us.

Today’s prayer
Prayer: Abba Father, thank You for giving me Your beloved only Son, Jesus, for my salvation. Give me discernment to pray with faith, expecting more than I can imagine, trusting in Your power that works within me. I lift this prayer with thanksgiving and ask for Your help to live giving You glory in everything.
