”‘Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.’” (Psalm 46:10, NIV).
In a world full of noise, worries, and chaos, God calls us to stop and acknowledge who He is. Our human tendency is to try to control everything, to seek solutions on our own, but the Lord invites us to be still and trust fully in His sovereignty.
Being still does not mean doing nothing; rather, it is a posture of faith and rest in God. When we stop striving in our own strength and trust in His power, His glory is revealed in our lives. He remains God, exalted above all things, and in His perfect timing, everything will be fulfilled according to His will. Are you allowing God to take control, or are you still struggling in your own strength?
Today’s prayer
Prayer: Lord, teach me to be still in Your presence, to trust that You are God and that Your plan is perfect. Help me to rest in Your power and to exalt You with my life. In Jesus’ name, amen.
“With hope and joy in him along the way with him”.
