Enter with Thanksgiving
This beautiful psalm invites us to approach God with the right posture: gratitude, praise, and reverence. It’s not a casual suggestion—it’s a solemn call to acknowledge who He is and what He has done.
“Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name.” (Psalm 100:4, NIV)
This beautiful psalm invites us to approach God with the right posture: gratitude, praise, and reverence. It’s not a casual suggestion—it’s a solemn call to acknowledge who He is and what He has done.
To enter His gates with thanksgiving means recognizing that everything we are and have comes from Him. When we come before Him not with complaint or demands, but with thanksgiving, our hearts align with heaven.
Praise paves the way to communion. When we bless His name, we exalt Him for who He is: Holy, Faithful, Loving, and Sovereign.
With what attitude are you entering God’s presence each day? Are you praising His name with a thankful heart?
Today’s prayer
Prayer: Abba Father, thank You for giving me Your beloved only Son, Jesus, for my salvation. Today I come into Your presence with thanksgiving and praise. Thank You for Your love, Your faithfulness, and all You do for me. Help me bless Your name with all my heart, every day of my life. I lift this prayer with thanksgiving.
In the name of our Lord Jesus. Amen.
