Jesus, the Son of Man, though fully God, chose the path of service and sacrifice. He did not seek human praise but came with a redemptive mission: to give His life out of love, redeeming many from the power of sin and death (Philippians 2:6–8).
This verse challenges our pride and personal ambitions. It reminds us that true leadership in the Kingdom of God is not about control, but humility and surrender. Serving, following Christ’s example, is not optional for the believer—it is a divine calling. He not only saved us through His sacrifice but also gave us a model to follow. To serve with love, expecting nothing in return, is to reflect the heart of our Savior.
Today’s prayer
Prayer: Lord Jesus, thank You for giving Your life as a ransom for me. Teach me to live with a heart willing to serve, just as You did. May my life reflect Your humble and sacrificial love. Abba Father, we offer this prayer in the name of Your beloved Son Jesus. Amen.
