Verse of the Day: “He tends his flock like a shepherd: He gathers the lambs in his arms and carries them close to his heart; he gently leads those that have young.” Isaiah 40:11 NIV
This verse tenderly describes the Lord’s care for His people. Like a shepherd protecting his sheep, God approaches with compassion and patiently guides each one. His leadership is not distant but marked by a love that embraces and sustains in moments of greatest need (Psalm 23:1–2).
The Lord knows our weaknesses and burdens. Just as a shepherd carries fragile lambs in his arms, God holds us close to His heart. In Christ we see the ultimate expression of this care: the Good Shepherd who lays down His life for the sheep (John 10:11).
This passage also reminds us that the Lord gives special attention to those most in need. His guidance is never indifferent or impersonal but tender and full of compassion. In Him we find safety, direction, and rest for our souls (Matthew 11:29).

Prayer: Abba Father, thank You because You care for me with love. Carry me close to Your heart and teach me to trust in Your guidance each day. May I experience Your tenderness and reflect it to others who need Your comfort. I pray in the Name of Your beloved Son Jesus. Amen.
