We are justified by our faith in Jesus Christ. The righteousness that saves does not come from human effort but is a divine gift received by all who believe. It is a righteousness that comes from God and is obtained only through faith (Ephesians 2:8–9).
The apostle Paul declares that this faith is not a one-time act but a way of life—“from first to last.” To live by faith means to trust completely in the character, promises, and perfect work of Christ. It is not relying on what we see but resting in what God has spoken and fulfilled (Hebrews 10:38).
In a world where trust is placed in wealth, strength, or recognition, the gospel calls us to fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). He is our righteousness, our security, and our life. Therefore, even in uncertainty, the righteous continue to live by faith, knowing that God never fails.
Today’s prayer
Prayer: Abba Father, thank You because You have declared me righteous through faith in Christ. Help me live each day trusting in Your Word—not in my strength or circumstances. Strengthen my faith to walk in obedience and rest in Your perfect righteousness. I pray in the Name of Your beloved Son Jesus. Amen.
