These words from Jesus, spoken in the Sermon on the Mount, remind us to live each day with faith, not fear. He doesn’t ignore life’s troubles, but tells us not to carry tomorrow’s burdens today. Each day has enough of its own (Lamentations 3:23).
Worrying about the future places a weight on the heart we were never meant to carry. Those who trust in the Lord can rest, knowing He already holds tomorrow (Psalm 55:22). If God feeds the birds and clothes the flowers, how much more will He care for us? (Matthew 6:26–30).
Today’s prayer
Prayer: Lord, thank You for reminding me I am never alone. Today I choose to trust in Your provision and perfect care. Help me to walk in peace, not worrying about tomorrow, because I know You are already there. In the name of our Lord Jesus. Amen.
