Verse of the Day: “Praise be to the Lord, to God our Savior, who daily bears our burdens. Selah” Psalm 68:19 NIV

This psalm reveals something wonderful about God’s character: He is not a distant observer nor a passive witness to our struggles. He is our God and Savior, the One who steps into our story to sustain, strengthen, and carry what we cannot carry. His help is not occasional— it is daily. Day after day, He lifts our burdens with love and faithfulness (Isaiah 46:4).

When life weighs heavily on our shoulders—worry, responsibility, fear, pain—God invites us to place everything into His hands. He does not grow tired or weary, and He never asks us to face alone what threatens to overwhelm us. Instead, He calls us to cast our burdens on Him and experience His rest and peace (Matthew 11:28–30).

The word Selah invites us to pause and reflect: how many burdens have we carried alone, when the Lord desired to carry them for us? He restores what breaks, strengthens what weakens, and renews what seems exhausted. His daily presence reminds us that we do not rely on our strength, but on His powerful and sufficient grace (2 Corinthians 12:9).

Today’s prayer

Prayer: Abba Father, thank You because every day You carry my burdens with love. Today I place every weight I carry into Your hands and trust in Your perfect care. Renew my strength, sustain my heart, and fill my life with Your peace. I pray in the Name of Your beloved Son Jesus. Amen.
