“Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all his benefits” (Psalm 103:2, NIV) This verse is a personal call to the soul: to remember, to give thanks, and to praise. The psalmist urges us not to let time or trials make us forget the countless blessings of God. To remember His works is to strengthen our faith and renew our gratitude.

In His life and ministry, Jesus revealed the Father’s heart—healing, forgiving, providing, teaching, and restoring. Each act of love was a benefit poured out on humanity. Today, you and I continue to witness that same goodness. To praise God with the soul means to surrender our inner being in worship, recognizing that every day lived, every provision, every promise fulfilled is proof of His faithfulness. Are you taking time to remember what God has done for you? Is your heart filled with gratitude, or do you need to refocus on His blessings?

Today’s prayer

Prayer: Abba Father, thank You for all Your benefits. I don’t want to forget a single one, because each one speaks of Your love and faithfulness. Today my soul praises You with sincere gratitude. In the name of Jesus I give You thanks. Amen.

“With hope and joy in Him along the way with Him”
